Hello Voodoo Sheiks fans and followers!
So the new album ‘Voodification’ is all recorded and as I write it’s going through the multiplication process so there’ll be plenty to go round.
Four days in Platform Studio to get 12 songs done was a tall order but with Damon Sawyer in charge of proceedings we got there and the results are extremely pleasing. We had the help of awesome keyboard player Paul Jobson on 3 of the tracks. He swooped in to deliver his lines and swooped out again, what a true professional!
As mentioned in the previous news letter we have some great gigs coming up and have just added 2 more dates supporting Laurence Jones at The Beaverwood Club, Chislehurst on June 4th and The Boom Boom Club, Sutton on June 5th.
Along with gigs at The Surrey Blues Club (album launch), Farnham Maltings, The Oval Tavern, The Cavern Freehouse and The Star Inn, Bentworth 2015 is going to be a lot of fun.
